You are my pardners -- at Work, at Home or at Church. Please come along and honor me with your presence.
No gifts allowed! Instead, I am hoping that you will be generous when I get to passing the hat for a wonderful organization: Missing Children Minnesota
This fine upstanding 501(c)3 group has been bringin' the children home for 21 years -- and I've been ridin' with 'em and oftentimes sittin' with 'em in that "Board of Directors" saddle during that time.
So join me. After our chili, we will kick up our heels with the "Wild Rhubarb String Band".
RSVP by email preferred.
Please indicate your name, how many will attend, how many vegetarian / meat chili eaters.
Or call us at 612-588-9532.

Party history/Mike Hatch connection. A while back Minnesota Attorney General and guvner wannabe (oughtabe?), Mike Hatch, declared that parties were not a legitimate expense for a medical insurer... Yea, he was probably right but we like to party, nah, we need to party once in a while. HealthPardners responded by discontinuing most parties.
Becca wanted a party after 25 years and so decided to hold one herself with a little help from her friends. It won't be as fancy as the shindigs HP used to put on but it'll be more fun! She decided to raise some funds for her favorite cause at the same time.
Feedback needed
This is a home grown party, no event planning pros involved. The hall, the band
and the cooks have been engaged but we still wonder if anyone will come.
Please do us a favor and give us a clue whether you can come.
Yes, No, Maybe responses acceptable (you can let us know later when you know more).
If you learn late that you can come, come on over.
But you may want to grab bite to eat before coming in case the chili runs out.
Don't let the fundraising pitch keep you from coming. You know we understand youall do what you can. But if you can, here's another link to where you can Make a donation to MCM by secure web page / credit card
Fred H Olson, Becca's pardner for 35 years. P.S. Been a while since we've ridden together and wanna refresh your memory on who these dudes Becca and Fred are? Try Fred's Link Page, Note the "About Fred" link at the bottom. Back up to the invitation and RSVP link
Also some folks have asked if this is a retirement party... No, tho the clinic where Becca has worked is closing, she will continue to practice at HP's West Clinic.
Few people have indicated their preference for meat vs veggie chile so we'll probably estimate how much of each to make.
